How do I make bottlecap magnets?

The decorated bottlecap magnets and necklaces have become quite popular in our area. I would love to make my own. I have seen some with a picture on them. Does anyone know how to make them? I want to make some with my kids picture

You can put the pics/images on the inside of bottlecaps or on the outside.

If they’re on the inside, generally a clear epoxy resin (or even epoxy glue) or a clear finish of various kinds is poured in over the image …usually the paper images are sealed first** (including all edges) particularly if using resin
**sealing is often done with a white glue (decoupage medium like ModPodge, or just Elmers Glue All thinned down with water, or a dimensional white glue like Diamond Glaze, etc), but could also be a clear polyurethane, fingernail polish,or other things
