Where To Go On UK Corporate Event Days
Corporate hospitality is more popular than ever right now. Keeping clients and employees happy is something that modern businesses are realising is very important, and entertaining days out are a great way to do this. More and more people are actually starting to favour holding business meetings at corporate events as they feel they are more constructive locations than formal offices. So what are the best places around to experience a brilliant corporate entertainment day?
Henley Royal Regatta. The brilliant rowing event that is the Henley Royal Regatta finds its home in the beautiful Oxfordshire. There are many variations on boat type and number of rowers, each competing over the 5 days that the event runs. The event is something of a proving ground for rowing teams from a wide variety of different countries, providing a very exciting atmosphere for all. Add to this the fact that there is some of the most beautiful scenery around, and you’ve got the setting for a fun and enjoyable Henley Regatta Entertaining day out
Glorious Goodwood. This summer horseracing event is as relaxing as it exhilarating.Edward VII, when he was king, referred to the event as “a garden party with racing tacked on”, and he wasn’t far from the truth. Formal attire was actually dumped by the King who preferred attending in something a little bit more comfortable and people still continue to do the same. Linen suits and summer dresses are the most common attire and a glass of Pims goes down well also at a Glorious Goodwood Entertaining event
Royal Ascot. Royal Ascot is a favourite of the royal family, and as such it is slightly more formal than most. There is a lot of betting that goes on here so its the ideal place to try your hand if your a newbie or place some higher stakes bets if you’ve got guts. Much like the Goodwood event, it takes place in the summer time, so you’ve got more chance of seeing the sun. Sometimes with horseracing events, everything seems a bit rushed but not here. There wont be any opportunity to be find yourself bored because although there are four days of the event, there is so much to see and do there.
