In AutoCAD 2009, how can I bring the small blue box that accompanies the cursor back?

There used to be a helpful blue box that appeares by the cursor when I’m performing a command that tells me what next information I should enter. It has options sometimes. Now it’s gone. I want to bring it back. It made things easier before.

Toggle back on the Dynamic Input. It should be on the bottom status bar and look like a cursor with a little box to the lower right of it.
