do blue roses exist or are the made up?

if blue roses exist, how much is it for one? for a dozen? and would a florist have to special order them?

To this day, there has never been a “true” blue rose ever propagated. And if you do see a blue one, it has been dyed or painted. The closest blue roses on the market are actually light lavender in color. Which when looked at from the right angle, “appears” to be blue. But, upon further inspection it is readily apparent that it is of a purple or lavender coloration and not blue. If anyone says there is truly a blue rose on the horticultural market, they don’t know what they are talking about….. Hope this answers your question.
