Black Pink

Is it possible to get a full size poster made using pink paper with black ink?

I’m hoping I don’t have to pay the “full color” price when all I want is black and pink. I’d prefer to print on matte paper with something close to fireball fushia.

Good luck finding a roll of black paper. That simply doesn’t exist to print on.

Full colour is something that you’ll get charged for no matter where you go. If you were making posters on an offset press then you might be able to get away with 1 colour printing, but only on specific runs and that won’t happen very often. If you’re going to a normal print shop, if you want one colour, you’re going to be paying for full colour.

Another option however if you have Acrobat and you want to save on the printing costs is to make your poster, print it as spreads in Acrobat (9 8×11 pages will make up a nice big poster) cut it down, and paste it to a foam board. Instead of paying $50 for a big poster, you can make up prints for maybe $10 and spend $10 on a nice big foam board. It all depends how much time you want to spend on it.

Eventually though, you might decide it might be worth simply paying to get it done instead of wasting time doing it. Depends how cheap you are and how determined
