Black Iridescent
What is this bug called?
I live in Fullerton, CA and there’s this big bug that flies around a lot and I’m not sure exactly what it called. It’s big and black but looks iridescent or green when the sunlight hit it’s right and makes a deep humming noise. It has the shape of a bee, but it’s not. It likes to land on my shoulder and just chill there when I let it. It hasn’t bitten me. I’ve gotten a few ideas of what it might be, like June bugs or cicada but none of them quite fit the description.
