Beautiful Rust
How to remove rust from this?
Hi Everyone!
I found a beautiful piece of steel whilst i was fishing. I’m not sure what it is, but it is all rusted & has shells stuck to it. I watched a movie a few months back & it showed some people cleaning steel objects that were found in the ocean in a small fish tank, it did not say what they were cleaning it with, but they were almost completely restored. I’m planning to keep it partly rusted for that old antique rustic look, but i would like it cleaned up & the sea odor gone.
Any help is very appreciated!

Try Naval Jelly, WD 40 is more of a rust inhibitor than anything else (Water Displacement #40)
