Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility- Bens Badge and wood fish?

I am at the part when I have to find Ben’s badge. People tell me to complete Collins rainbow first. I can’t find Wood fish though. I haven’t even got to Mt. Gelato. Please help. Thanks!

Completing Collins will help you find Ben’s Badge and you need a saury, blue wonderful, banana, perfect spinach and red wool yarn. YOu need a wood fish for Alan’s recipe.

You can’t catch the wood fish until you have received the Rainbow Recipe from Alan, and you have to complete Ben and Daren’s recipes. The fish can be found in the Harvest Goddess’ pond in any season, between 7:00 pm and 5:00 am. It is very rare, so you just have to be patient and keep trying.
