The kid im baby sitting just fed about a half a tortilla chip to his parakeet, is the bird going to be okay?

I dont know anything about birds, but it was only half a chip. Will the parakeet be alright?

Should be fine. Birds like chips. Salt really isnt good for them so I would not advise it
but tortilla chips are just corn. The things that would kill them are coffee alcohol chocolate avocado and such. Dairy isnt real good either. But it should be fine. Never seen a parakeet with an appetite like that though! LOL
