Why did my azalea flowers look soooooo much better when I bought the plant? ?

I bought this little azalea a few years ago and the flower were a shocking pink mixed with white. It was just amazing, and now my flowers are just average looking white with a little pink on the fringes. Did the grower use some special fertilizer to get those amazing colors? I can send photos if anyone wants to see what they looked like before and after.
I have used Miracid since I know they’re acid loving plants, but I doubt I’ll ever see flowers like those it had when I bought it. I just wish I could see what those growers are doing at the “factory”

Yes azaleas do like an acid fertilizer, especially for azaleas and other acid loving plants.If they were planted in the ground you might want to check the PH.Do not trim them late in the year this will effect next years blooms..(but do trim before that). If its potted try miracle gro miracid water soluble fertilizer.A bloom special water soluble fertilizer will help push the blooms…make sure the middle # is the highest like..15-30-15
