Applique Trims

I’m making my daughter a cowgirl for halloween and need some ideas to put together her costume?

So i have a plain jean dress with swede trim, black boots (kind of cowgirlish but not true western boots) and a black cowboy hat for her. I need some ideas on making this stuff more western- anything I can put on the boots, appliques to put on the dress?, and where on earth do I get this stuff without paying a fortune

you could go to walmart & get some brown fabric & cut out some “cow like shapes’ & sew them on the dress. Then put a white star on her hat( w/white fabric). Go check out walmart the craft area.
