Enjoy Winter Movies From Under Your Double Duvet Cover

I love spending cold Christmas days wrapped up on the sofa in my double duvet cover watching holiday films. Laying back on the sofa with a mince pie and glass of punch is one of the best ways to relax on a winter day. These are the kind of days you long for when you are stuck at a desk. And they feel extra good if you have been enjoying the snow in the morning. You can sit in front of a fire with the excuse of getting warmer, then stay there for the rest of the day! I have three favourite activities for a winter’s day which I will describe here.

Movies And Snacks
You have probably guessed by now that one of my favourite winter activities is to sit on the sofa wrapped in my double duvet cover with some snacks and my holiday movies. I have my favourite films including any brit-flicks and romantic comedies. If I can get away with doing this for the whole day so that I do not even need to get out of my pyjamas, even better. But I can assure you that you won’t want to get off the settee once you have plonked yourself down so get everything you need around you at the start of the movie marathon. But do make sure you get up in time to make it to the toilet when you need a wee!

Baking Xmas Treats
If I have a bit of energy then I love to do some baking and cooking in the kitchen. It can feel great when the windows steam up and you are in a little world of your own. Cookies which you can decorate in Christmas themes are my favourites. Pies, cakes and soups are also very festive. You get to eat your treats after cooking them and the process will have relieved some Christmas stress!

Get Cold In The Snow
And of course no winter would be complete without a snow fight, building snow people and making angels in the white stuff.  We can bring out the kid in us when we have a snow day and revel in our immature nature. Even if you do not have children you do not have to miss out on the fun of a snow day.
