12 week old Kittens won’t stop sneezing?

Hi – I just adopted two amazing little kittens this past Saturday. Last night, I noticed they were both sneezing occasionally. When I woke up today, it was much more frequent and accompanied by a squeaking nasal noise in one of the cats. Also, they both have been hacking as if they have a hairball, but nothing comes up.
In general, they don’t seem remotely perturbed by their sneezing – there’s no excess eye goop and nothing comes out when they sneeze (no runny noses either).
Do they need to go to the vet ASAP? Or is it ok to wait and see if things get worse?

It sounds like the start of an upper respiratory infection, although it may seem harmless now, it can actually be very serious, one of the biggest problems is , cats won’t eat what they can’t smell. It can also have very bad effects on the respiratory system itself. It does require a vet who will give you a round of antibiotics. It is also very contagious, if you have any other cats in the house they are at risk of catching it. Kittens health can deteriorate very quickly I would suggest a trip to the vet asap.
